Whenever there is a major event in Monaco, Nicole Coste, 52, is not far away. The former lover of Prince Albert, 67, is often seen in the city state on the Côte d’Azur, and she regularly shares photos of her visits to Albert’s homeland on her official Instagram account. This is no different now.

Nicole Coste cheers on Charles Leclerc

Shortly after the start of the 81st Monaco Grand Prix, Nicole Coste posted a photo from Monte Carlo in which she is smiling and looking into the distance from a balcony. Monaco’s harbor can be seen behind her, and the azure Mediterranean is particularly crowded with yachts this weekend. “Monaco Grand Prix. We’re waiting for the victory of Charles Leclerc, the child of the country,” wrote Nicole Coste, thanking Pauline Ducruet, 30, for her new coat. “I love this jacket!” emphasized the 52-year-old, adding the hashtag “dude” and “pauline ducruet.”

Pauline Ducruet owns the fashion label “Alter Designs”, for which Nicole’s son Alexandre, 20, recently appeared in front of the camera – with some members of the royal family. The fact that Nicole Coste is also benefiting from this seems to delight the 52-year-old – after all, she does not have a good relationship with all members of the royal family. Princess Charlène, 47, is a thorn in her side in particular.

“Everything that happens to you is karma”

In a detailed interview with the French magazine “Paris Match” in September 2021, the former stewardess took a sharp shot at the princess. “During the engagement period, I experienced things that alarmed and shocked me. [Fürstin Charlène] For example, he changed my son’s room and took advantage of his father’s absence to put him in the staff wing. As a mother, I have no words to describe this behavior,” Nicole Coste claimed, among other things. Serious allegations against Charlène, who was struggling with severe health problems at the time of the interview. But even that did not stop her from hitting back two months after her interview. When she was asked about the Princess’s health at a party in Marylebone in December 2021, she is said to have reacted quite emotionlessly, according to the Daily Mail. “I don’t care what’s wrong with her. Everything that happens to her is karma,” was Coste’s cool reply.

Alexandre Grimaldi wants to work with Prince Albert

Statements that Prince Albert himself said made him “angry”. Nevertheless, he is trying to maintain a good relationship with his son’s mother. After all, Alexandre Grimaldi wants to be more present within the royal family and was recently seen with some members of the family on an outing to the qualifying session before the Monaco Grand Prix.

“Now it will definitely be interesting to be more in the public eye and to show my face and be connected to my family,” Alexandre Grimaldi said in an interview with “Tatler” at the end of last year, stressing: “I want to work with my father and – let’s say – become a global ambassador for Monaco and bring business opportunities to Monaco.”
