Kate and William interrupt summer vacation for sweet news

Catherine and William can hardly hide their joy.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are on hand from their summer break to send a touching message.

Actually, the British royal family is currently on their well-deserved summer vacation. For a message that is particularly important to them, Prince William, 41, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are now interrupting their break – and it should make some hearts beat faster.

Prince and Princess of Wales support the England women’s football team

The England women’s football team is set to advance to the next round of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand after beating China 6-1 on Tuesday 1 August 2023. “We’re going into the KO round. The hard work goes on,” the so-called Lionesses gather their strength before the next match.

William and Kate, both self-confessed football fans, are of course rooting for their football wives despite the summer break and send their support via Twitter. “We’re cheering for you all @Lionesses! Good luck for the KO phase,” they comment on the team’s post and put a football emoji behind it.

Prince William has been President of the Football Association since 2006 and has been committed to promoting and supporting women’s football ever since. The prince and his loved ones will probably follow the football World Cup diligently while on vacation.

Prince William as a burger seller

Despite the holidays, Royal fans could already look forward to news from the heir to the throne at the weekend. The 41-year-old surprised unsuspecting people as a burger chef in a food truck for the popular YouTube format “Sorted Food” to draw attention to his “Earthshot Prize” initiative – and earned some astonished looks.
