After their corona infection, there is now great news from Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. The couple are expecting their third child.

After Prince Carl Philip (41) and his wife, Princess Sofia (36), recently tested positive for the corona virus, there is now great news from the Swedish royal family. The royal couple is expecting their third child!

"We are happy, excited and look forward to soon welcoming our third child, a sibling of Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel," enthused Philip and Sofia. You can't wait to see a "new, little family member".

Survived infection?

Sofia and Philip have been married since 2015. Their first son Alexander was born in 2016, followed by his little brother Gabriel in 2017. According to the royal family's announcement, Princess Sofia is doing well and the birth is expected in March or April 2021.

At the end of November, the royal family announced that the couple and their children had to go into quarantine. The two had tested positive for a corona infection and had mild flu symptoms to complain about.
