Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden have had three children since March. But there was no family picture yet. Until now …

Around four months after the birth of their son Prince Julian, Prince Carl Philip of Sweden (42) and Princess Sofia (36) are now showing a picture of the family of five for the first time. On the official Instagram account share a family snapshot: “A summer greeting from our family”, comment on the picture. The youngest offspring of the Royals saw the light of day on March 26, 2021, and there have been very few pictures of him since then.

Julian is the third child of Carl Philip and Sofia. Son Prince Alexander (5) was born in 2016, followed by his brother Prince Gabriel (3) in 2017. After the birth of Julian it became surprisingly quiet around the prince couple, who only rarely showed up at official appointments. Carl Philip and Sofia also noticeably restricted their otherwise brisk social media activities. Most recently, about two weeks ago, they posted a new couple picture of themselves, without children.

Carl Philip is fourth in line to the Swedish throne

The royal and the former glamor model have been married since 2015. Carl Philip is the only son of King Carl XVI. Gustaf (75) and Queen Silvia (77) as well as the only brother of Crown Princess Victoria (43) and Princess Madeleine (39). He is fourth in line to the Swedish throne.
