A bang in Great Britain: Prince Charles is planning a royal slimming diet as the future king. Archie would never be a prince …

Apparently a final decision has been made: Prince Charles (72) is said to have decided that his grandson Archie Mountbatten-Windsor (2), son of Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39), never in his life the title of Prince will be allowed to lead. This is reported by the “Mail on Sunday“and refers to palace insiders. According to this, Prince Charles wants to make the monarchy much leaner when he takes over the throne.

One of the victims of this would be Archie, of all people, who will no longer have a place in the “front row”. Because: At the moment, all grandchildren of the king or queen have the automatic right to bear the prince or princess title. But that’s exactly what Charles now wants to change and limit this privilege only to the immediate and most important royals in the direct line of heir apparent. The reason, however, should not be the “Megxit” and the arguments that go with it, but simply money.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan already know the decision

Nowadays the public can no longer be expected to use taxpayers’ money to finance too many princes and princesses who only play a subordinate role in the line of succession. According to the report, Harry and Meghan have already been informed of this step. How they reacted is not yet known.

Archie is in seventh place in the line of succession, his newborn sister Lilibet (1 month) in eighth place. In front of them are Prince Charles, Prince William (38), his children Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3), as well as Prince Harry. To clarify: If this new regulation had already initiated Queen Elizabeth II (95), for example Princess Beatrice (32) or Princess Eugenie (31) would not have received their titles.
