According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, Prince Charles has not just one but two irritated sons in his family. This moodiness of Prince William and Prince Harry is like an emotional minefield for their father.

It’s no secret among royal authors and experts that Prince Charles, 73, has had a socially acceptable relationship with his two sons, Prince William, 39, and Prince Harry, 37, over the past few decades. Harry himself spoke of the “Pain and Suffering” podcast “Armchair Expert” about the parenting style he had to go through. But what is behind the cool upbringing method of the Royals?

As author Robert Jobson explains in his Daily Mail column, the distant relationship that currently exists between Harry and his father – and once existed between Charles and William – is not solely due to the 73-year-old.

Prince Charles finds it difficult to gauge his sons’ state of mind

Jobson reports that William and Harry both suffer from “extreme mood swings.” William is even said to be a “shouter” within the palace walls and from time to time get into “heated arguments” with Duchess Catherine, 40. While Kate can now deal with her husband’s moodiness and even tame it, Prince Charles apparently still struggles with this character trait of his children.

According to the royal author, the heir to the throne makes no secret of his inability to handle his sons’ whims. Jobson claims to have learned this from several palace insiders and anonymous sources from royal circles. “To this day, Charles admits he often struggles to gauge William and Harry’s occasionally erratic moods,” Jobson said.

Princess Diana is said to have severe mood swings

The swirling feelings that William and Harry seem to overpower from time to time are also said to have happened to their mother. Princess Diana, † 36, is said to have had “explosive outbursts of anger” during her marriage to Prince Charles. The royal biographer Howard Hodgson described in his book “Charles – The man who will be King”, published in 2007, that Diana showed severe mood swings, especially in the early years of marriage. Because she wanted to make her husband listen?

Even then, the 73-year-old is said to have struggled with this (for the Royals) inappropriate type of emotion. Apparently he never understood them – neither with his first wife nor with his sons.
