Prince Charles: He calls for a global approach to the fight against the corona virus

The British royals were still joking at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis. This now seems to be the end. During the Water Aid Summit in London, Prince Charles (71) spoke about the current corona situation. The son of Queen Elizabeth II (93) indicated that a global approach is important to stop the virus from spreading. As "Mail Online" also reports, the Prince of Wales currently does not shake hands.

His heart project

The fight against climate change is also a matter close to Charles' heart. At the Water Aid charity event, he urged all nations to work together to stop the environmental threat. An important issue is the impact of climate change on access to drinking water.

As Mail Online reports, the number of people living with unacceptable water sources is likely to grow to five billion by 2050. Charles said, "We have to be urgent to avoid irreversible damage to our planet."
