At the anniversary service, he seems dejected

At the anniversary service for Queen Elizabeth’s 70th throne jubilee, Prince Charles made a tired, almost sad impression in a few moments. Do the British now have to worry about their heir to the throne?
Is Prince Charles, 73, now all too much? The heir to the throne is increasingly having to take on the role of Queen Elizabeth, 96, and represent her on official occasions.
Prince Charles has to step in more and more often
At yesterday’s “Trooping the Color” parade, Charles accepted the deployment of more than 1,200 officers and soldiers on behalf of his mother and, as honorary colonel of the Welsh Guards, inspected together with his sister Princess Anne, 71, and his son Prince William, 39 , the troupe. The Queen always did it herself.
But understandably, at the age of 96, she is no longer able to do so and has to give up more and more tasks. The appearance on the balcony and the event in the evening, where she started the lighting of thousands of beacons, were too stressful for the monarch. As a result, she cannot attend the service on Friday morning.
Tired impression at the anniversary service
Instead, Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla, 74, are the last to enter the chapel, which is otherwise reserved for the Queen. If the heir to the throne seems happy at first when he waves to the cheering crowd outside and blows his daughter-in-law Duchess Catherine, 40, an air kiss in the church, he makes a sad impression a little later.

During the service he looks almost sad, even closing his eyes for a moment. Even before that, in the car, you could see the tired face of the Queen’s son. It’s almost as if Prince Charles wants to appear exhilarated at key moments when cameras and crowds of people are watching him, but he can’t always maintain that image of himself.
Hopefully it’s just harmless tiredness on the part of the prince and the British people don’t have to worry about the heir to the throne as well. Because despite all the concerns about the Queen: Yes, Charles should prepare for his role as king with such tasks, but sometimes it is forgotten that the Prince of Wales is already 73 years old and he has contracted Corona twice in the past few months was.
