Prince Charles: infected with Prince Albert of Monaco with Corona?

In the person of Prince Albert of Monaco (62), the first member of a noble house was also infected with the highly contagious corona virus. Since the Prince's Palace announced this news on Thursday (March 19), there has been concern that other people may have contracted the 62-year-old. One of them could theoretically also be Prince Charles (71), who welcomed Prince Albert to a charity event in London nine days ago and sat directly opposite him.

The fact that Prince Charles and Prince Albert did not really have much space between them at the WaterAid's event is demonstrated by images, for example in the British "Daily Mail". Since the coronavirus' incubation period can be up to 14 days, according to the Robert Koch Institute, it is mathematically possible that Prince Albert was already infected at the time of the event.

Albert has no health problems

Regarding Prince Albert, there is "no need to worry about health", the official statement of the palace says. At the beginning of this week, the prince had undergone the test and can continue to work now.

The head of the Grimaldi family is treated by his doctor and specialist at the Princess Grace Clinic, it said. At the same time, the Royal asked the citizens of the Principality to abide by the current rules and regulations in order to slow down the spread of the corona virus.
