Prince Charles reveals a special interest that he and Prince George share
Prince Charles, 72, is setting an important example with his participation in the documentary “COP26: In Your Hand”. As “Express” reports, 3,042 adult British people were asked who they would like to be on the throne after the death of Queen Elizabeth, 95. 41 percent voted for Prince William, while 30 percent are for the tradition to continue and for Prince Charles to inherit from his mother. A result that has dominated the minds of the British for the past few years. However, there is an interesting trend to be followed: Apparently, Prince Charles is gaining popularity. As recently as April 2021, William obtained a whopping 47 percent approval, while Charles received only 27 percent at the time. In 2011, 60 percent of those questioned wanted Prince William to be the future king – a clear turnaround!
Prince Charles has always fought against his damaged image – the divorce from Princess Diana, † 36, his affair with Duchess Camilla, 74, and the scandalous call recordings that leaked to the public in 1989 have shaped the image of the royal. Prince William, on the other hand, is downright scandal-free and with Duchess Catherine, 39, has a woman by her side who is downright loved by the British people. Nevertheless, Charles and Camilla seem to have caught up significantly in recent years.
