Next weekend, Prince Daniel will finally celebrate his 50th birthday. Now it comes out: There was a party long ago – organized by Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill.
On November 11, 2023 the time has come: around two months after his 50th birthday, the celebration will now take place Prince Daniel’s honor. Due to the celebrations for King Carl Gustaf, 77,’s jubilee on the throne on September 15th, Princess Victoria’s husband, 46, initially withdrew. Next Saturday Daniel will be celebrating at a private party in the Stockholm Royal Palace.

“Yes, that’s right. Because Prince Daniel turned 50 on September 15th, the big anniversary day, his celebration was postponed to November 11th,” court information chief Margareta Thorgren recently confirmed to “Expressen” and added: ” There will be a private celebration at the royal palace.” The desire for a larger but private celebration came from Daniel himself.

However, he has to do without his sister-in-law Princess Madeleine, 41, and her husband Chris O’Neill, 49. “They live in the USA and the reason for this is that they were home recently and it is a long trip,” the spokeswoman explains to “Svensk Damtidning” about the absence of the couple, who live in Florida with their three children.

They traveled to Sweden in September to celebrate the throne’s jubilee. On this occasion there was apparently already a secret celebration for her brother-in-law. As Thorgren now confirms, Madeleine and Chris had organized a small party for the prince’s 50th birthday so that he could celebrate a little. “They congratulated the prince the last time they were in Sweden,” said the spokeswoman. Unfortunately, they are unable to attend the upcoming party. However, the secret festival in the summer may have consoled the prince about this.
