Although the blonde beauty quickly officially denied a romantic relationship with the heir to the Danish throne and even threatened legal action, the rumors have not died down yet. Genoveva Casanova flees to her favorite retreat – a palace
It was initially assumed that the 47-year-old had flown to her home country of Mexico or Great Britain. However, that turned out to be untrue. Rather, she drove with her dogs to San Sebastián in the north of Spain to the Arbaizenea Palace, which belongs to her ex-husband Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, Duke of Arjona. Although the two have been divorced for many years, Genoveva still regularly uses the palace as a retreat. For example, she recovered here after suffering a pulmonary embolism and a pulmonary infarction in July 2023. Now she seems to be hiding from the media here. With moderate success.
Rumors take a toll on her
It took eight days for the Spanish press to locate Genoveva. Now the Arbaizenea Palace is likely to be under siege by photographers. “HOLA!” writes that the 47-year-old hardly leaves her accommodation. Apparently she had to go to a cell phone shop because she had a problem with her phone. She is said to have been walking without make-up and with a worried expression on her face. It would be quite obvious that the whole thing was causing her great concern.
