Prince George and Princess Charlotte will attend the Queen’s State Funeral with their parents, Kate and William.

Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (7) will attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). Together with their parents, Prince William (40) and Kate, Princess of Wales (40), they are expected to attend the funeral service in Westminster Abbey on Monday. The British media report.

According to “Mail Online”, the royal family decided together, that the children of the heir to the throne should be present at the event, which is also attended by numerous heads of state. A total of around 2,000 guests will be there. George and Charlotte are second and third in line to the British throne, behind their father. The four-year-old brother of the two, Prince Louis, will apparently not be at the state funeral.

Burial at Windsor

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have not been seen in public since the death of their great-grandmother. Elizabeth II died on September 8th at her Scottish estate of Balmoral. George and Charlotte are also expected to attend the Queen’s funeral at Windsor Castle, which will follow the state funeral in a small circle.
