Prince George is already practicing for his future as king. Prince William’s son waved to the crowd on Saturday and made a sweet remark.

He will most likely be the next king: Prince George (10) was able to practice once again at yesterday’s “Trooping the Colour” which will later be performed once a year in his honour. The military parade is presented to the monarch as a birthday present – currently, as is known, this is Prince George’s grandfather, a certain King Charles III (75).

Prince George, son of the direct heir to the throne Prince William (41), first took his seat in a pompous carriage. Here he was driven from Buckingham Palace to the Horse Guards Parade parade ground alongside his mother Princess Kate (42) and his siblings Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6). On the way there, thousands of passers-by cheered the royal family.

As a lip reader revealed in the British “Daily Mail”, George made a remarkable observation at that very moment. He is said to have said to his mother in the carriage: “You all look so happy!” He then turned back to the onlookers and waved to them royally. This year’s “Trooping the Colour” parade was certainly something special for Prince George too: for the first time since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, his mother Kate appeared in public on Saturday.

King Charles was also impressed by the crowds on the streets

According to British media reports, her main motivation for returning was the fact that her children would otherwise have had to sit alone in the carriage. Her husband, Prince William, took part in the parade on horseback. Princess Kate also appeared alongside her family during the traditional Royal Air Force flyovers over Buckingham Palace.

By the way: King Charles, who took part on horseback last year, was also taken to the parade in a carriage alongside his wife, Queen Camilla (76). According to the “Daily Mail” lip reader, he was also impressed by the crowd. “Look at that! Wonderful! So colorful,” he said to his wife.
