Once considered one of the country’s most prominent bachelors, he announced last April that he would marry the beautiful Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral next June. Weddings which should see several members of the royal family reunited. Indeed, Charles III and Queen Camilla are invited, as are Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, as well as Prince George, his godson. Everyone should respond, even if there is still uncertainty about the presence or not of the Princess of Wales.
Just a month before their wedding, Hugh Grosvenor and his fiancée visited several charities in the northwest English city of Chester to see the projects his organization, the Westminster Foundation, funds. The rare opportunity for the couple to speak publicly about their future marriage as reported Town and Country. Wearing a casual blue shirt and jacket, the person made it known that he was counting down the days until the event. “Excited” to the idea of her getting married in the city of Chester, she stressed that it would be “the place where we will live, where we will build our life together”. And Prince George’s godfather added: “I just wanted to make it very clear how incredibly helpful people have been, how supportive they have been so far, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Because I realize this is going to be a great event for the city.”

Hugh Grosvenor, “Hughie” for short, has been chairman of the board of directors of the Grosvenor Group since the death of his father in 2016. Unlike other rich and privileged young men, the 33-year-old prefers to keep a low profile and stay away from media attention. There is no doubt that the waves caused by the possible presence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at his wedding must have bothered the discreet 7th Duke of Westminster. The latter should ultimately not make the trip. But let him prepare, his wedding on June 7 should attract the attention of the whole world.
