Are the ready-made plans for Prince George’s future about to be disrupted? Supposed to follow in his father’s footsteps by joining the prestigious English school for boys Etonfor his studies from the age of 13 to 18, it would seem that Prince George’s journey has not yet been recorded. In England, colleges are fighting to welcome the 10-year-old crowned head in the near future.
According to our media colleagues Hello!, Kate Middleton and William reportedly visited a college in Oxford called Saint Edward’s Oxford, a coeducational, public boarding school. In England and Wales, the term audience designates a type of private fee-paying establishment, open to all students, regardless of their city of origin, their religious denomination or the profession of their parents. If, however, the princely couple opted for this establishment which welcomes boys and girls aged 13 to 18, Kate and William should pay 47,000 pounds (54,000 euros) per year in tuition fees. According to media information Hello!, The school is run by headteacher Alastair Chirnside, an Oxford University graduate who received an award reserved for the most brilliant students. Founded in 1863, this institution counts two actors among its former students: Florence Pugh and Laurence Olivier.

Saint Edward’s, Oxford, is not the only school the princely couple visited. Last October the Daily Mail revealed that the Princess of Wales had been spotted at Marlborough College, in Wiltshire. An establishment that she knows like the back of her hand. Because, between 1996 and 2000, Kate Middleton attended school there. Since then, speculation has been rife. Is this establishment coveted for Prince George’s education? Or for that of Princess Charlotte? Being mixed, Marlborough College could very well welcome the only daughter of the heir to the throne. Many experts still point out that Wiltshire is not next door and that it seems unlikely that the couple’s children will go so far from their loved ones.
