While other children dream of hamburgers and chocolate, the young Royal Prince George apparently craves pasta and bacon.

Pasta, bacon, egg, pepper and Parmesan: it obviously doesn't take more to make Prince George (7) happy. The little royal's absolute favorite dish is said to be spaghetti carbonara. This was revealed by his father Prince William (38) to the celebrity chef Aldo Zilli (64), who specializes in Italian cuisine, as he reported in an interview with the British "Daily Mail".

The native Italian, who has lived in Great Britain for many decades, has met William several times over the years and the Royal loved to tell about his children George, Charlotte (5) and Louis (2). Zilli is waiting for a call from the palace so that he can cook the classic dish for the young prince.

And Zilli would love to do that too, as he is "a big fan of the Royal Family". He described William as a "great, great guy". In an interview with the tabloid he even actively promotes being allowed to cook for Prince George: "If George ever tries my carbonara, he will never want another one, so I have to cook it for him (…)."

The meetings between Prince William and Zilli came about through the non-profit organization Centrepoint, which works for the homeless. Both the royal and the celebrity chef support Centrepoint's efforts. Like the singer Ellie Goulding (33, "Love Me Like You Do"), Zilli is an ambassador for the organization, whose patron is William.
