Prince George: The most beautiful pictures of the eldest of Kate and William

On July 22, 2013, the whole world looked to Britain: the son of Kate and William, the most glamorous royal couple the world has to offer, saw the light of day. His name: Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. Or as we simply call him: Prince George.

It wasn’t long before little George had won the hearts of not only the Windsor clan, but those of the whole world. How should one not fall in love with the cheeky little rascal? On important royal appointments, which he occasionally attends, he is sometimes still shy or looks angrily at the many photographers. But Prince William and Duchess Kate regularly manage to make their eldest appearance easier with a helping hand or a small whispered comment in their ear. And since he started preschool, George seems to have found the hype about himself a little easier anyway. And his parents are still careful to protect the children as much as possible and necessary from too many flashbulbs. A childhood that is as normal as possible with lots of romping around in the fresh air is the educational goal of the outdoor-loving Cambridges.

Prince George in unforgettable pictures

So sweet and chubby, William and Kate’s little son walked up to his christening at St. James’s Palace in London in his custom-made christening gown. The prince’s trip abroad to Australia and New Zealand, which is not even a year old, also provided many golden scenes. And who doesn’t remember the picture when George, standing on a stack of books next to the grown-ups, posed for a joint stamp set with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William? Or his appearances as a page at various weddings for family and friends?

It was also touching how he entered the hospital in his father’s arms in 2015 to pick up his newborn sister Charlotte. And like Princess Charlotte and he climbed the same steps when it came to welcoming little brother Prince Louis in 2018.

support in the family

The three Cambridge children can be seen really at ease when they are with their parents, cousin Mia Tindall (daughter of Williams’ cousin Zara Tindall) or, for example, their grandmother, the Queen, and the photographers are away. In the family pictures that Kate herself regularly takes, George, who is no longer so little, smiles confidently and unabashedly at the camera.
