Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: for Christmas with both children to England?

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are said to be considering bringing Archie and Lilibet to the UK for Christmas to “pave the way for family healing,” a Royal Insider reported.

Prince Harry, 37, and Duchess Meghan, 40, have caused a lot of dust in the British royal family with their interviews and shocking revelations. But after a wild year, the two of them want nothing more than a reconciliation with the Royal Family and what time is more perfect than Christmas?

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: Christmas as an opportunity for reconciliation

Royal Insider Katie Nicholl believes the Sussexes will head to the UK for Christmas 2021 and it could be the ideal opportunity to finally mend relationships with the Royal Family, reports Closer and Daily Mail. Queen Elizabeth, 95, and Prince Charles, 72, should wish for nothing more than to see Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, 2, again and meet Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born in June of this year, for the first time. Speaking to Closer, the royal writer says Harry and Meghan see the coming Christmas season as the perfect opportunity to “pave the way for a family healing”.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles finally want to meet Lilibet

The couple last spent Christmas in the UK in 2018 and Harry has only flown alone to his old home twice since retiring as Senior Royal in March 2020. Meghan has not returned to the UK since then. The Royals haven’t seen Archie since the winter of 2020 before his parents officially left the UK. Nicholl: “When Harry and Meghan left, they made it clear that they never wanted to give up their home in Great Britain entirely. Christmas is seen as an opportunity for reconciliation. The Queen definitely wants that and Prince Charles wants to see his grandchildren. A Meeting suggests that they want to sort things out. ” Bringing their two children with them could help appease the spirits of the other royals, including Prince William, 39, and Duchess Catherine, 39. The brothers have only seen each other twice since Harry’s decision to leave the country: at the funeral of the late Prince Philip, † 99, in April and a second time to unveil a statue of her mother, the late Princess Diana, † 36 on July 1st.

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, Harry and Meghan will have their first public appointment since their baby break and are planning a romantic weekend trip to New York. It will be their first public appearance together since the two of them stepped down from their royal duties and moved to California, according to People Magazine.
