Harry and Meghan mixed with people when they bought a Christmas tree. Not everyone knew who it was.

Prince Harry (36) and his wife Duchess Meghan (39) will probably spend their first Christmas in their new Californian home this year. They have now started looking for the perfect Christmas tree. There was a funny mix-up on their shopping tour.

As the US magazine "People" reports, citing an employee of the sales outlet, a little boy who was traveling with his family and running around enthusiastically on the premises is said to have run up to Harry through the trees on display and asked him if he was work here – without knowing who is standing in front of him. The famous couple did not seem to be deterred and successfully ended their search for a Christmas tree.

In 2019 they celebrated in Canada

The two didn't want to make a big stir about their shopping trip. Before their visit to the market, a manager called and made sure that they could visit the market when the property was almost deserted, the seller describes in a tweet according to "People". "That was better for us than closing the store completely."

Harry and Meghan will most likely spend Christmas with their son Archie (1) in their new home in California. Only Meghan's mother Doria Ragland (64) should join the small family. The four of them celebrated a Christmas together in Canada last year.

Christmas 2020 will also be different for Harry's family in Great Britain: his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II (94) and her husband Prince Philip (99) will celebrate for the first time in decades at Windsor Castle and without their family because of the coronavirus pandemic . They usually spend the festive season at their Sandringham manor in Norfolk.
