Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: he in blue, she all in green – final appointment as royals

He has come, the final appointment for Prince Harry (35) and Duchess Meghan (38, "Suits") as Royals on Her Majesty's Order. After today's participation (9 March) in the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey, the Sussexes will no longer make public appearances as members of the British Royalty and will henceforth make a living independently. From March 31, they will no longer officially be called "Royal Highness".

Duchess Meghan's chosen outfit for this important moment caught the eye. From head to toe, it was wrapped in fine emerald green – the color of hope. Meghan also chose the color of her fascinator and handbag to match her robe, whose special eye-catcher was a cape that fell elegantly over her left shoulder. The Duchess only opted for inconspicuous, beige pumps for the shoes.

As a breath of wind revealed, her husband coordinated color with Duchess Meghan, at least on the inside of his otherwise dark blue suit. The two joined in addition to Queen Elizabeth II (93), Prince Charles (71) and his wife, Duchess Camilla (72). Harry's brother Prince William (37) and Duchess Kate (38) were also present. The Duchess of Cambridge also made a color statement and chose only a dark, glamorous wine red for her appearance.

Problems with the procession

As the British "BBC" reports, however, there were problems with the process at the fair. Instead of, like last year, going to church with the Queen at the procession, Prince Harry, Prince William, Duchess Meghan and Duchess Kate were led straight to their seats. The palace has not yet explained why this change occurred.

According to reports, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will fly back to their current place of residence in Canada after the performance. There the couple had left their son Archie (9 months) during their trip to Great Britain.
