Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: Nonprofit "Sussex Royal" is history

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have apparently finally sealed the end of their charity "Sussex Royal".

Prince Harry (35) and Duchess Meghan (38, "Suits") say goodbye to their old royal life step by step. You have now apparently submitted all the necessary documents in Great Britain in order to finally separate yourself from your old charity "Sussex Royal". This is reported, among other things, by the US magazine "People".

In early 2020, Harry and Meghan had announced that they wanted to step down as senior royals – the so-called "Megxit". Therefore, the two are no longer allowed to use the word "royal" – for example in connection with charities or public appearances.

It continues with "Archewell"

Already in April it was announced that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are planning to build a kind of charity empire under the new name "Archewell". According to media reports, the couple had already submitted documents in the United States in March. At the time it was said that they wanted to combine their own charity and volunteer work, self-help groups and a multimedia education empire under one roof.

Of course, the name of the new organization is based, among other things, on their son Archie, who was born in May 2019. Pretty much a year earlier, in May 2018, Meghan and Prince Harry, born in the United States, said yes. The young family now lives in the United States.
