After their mega-deal with Netflix, the first project that Harry and Meghan will produce for the streaming service has now been determined.

In autumn 2020 it became known that Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) had landed a mega-deal with the streaming giant Netflix with their previously founded production company Archewell Productions. The first format to appear on the platform has now been announced: “Heart of Invictus”.

It is a multi-part documentary series about the Invictus Games, a Paralympic sports event for war-disabled soldiers, which is being developed in collaboration with The Invictus Games Foundation. Among other things, the format will accompany several participants and the organizers in their preparations for the event. According to an announcement, Orlando von Einsiedel (40) will direct and the whole thing will be produced by Joanna Natasegara. The two also produced the Oscar-winning short documentary film “The White Helmets”.

He couldn’t be prouder

“Since the first Invictus Games in 2014, we knew that every competitor would contribute to a mosaic of resilience, determination and determination on his or her very own, special path,” explains Prince Harry in a statement. The series should therefore give an insight into the “moving and uplifting stories” of the participants. Harry couldn’t be more proud of the entire Invictus community.

The games should have last taken place in 2020, but have now been postponed to 2022 due to the corona pandemic. Prince Harry has been committed to projects for war-disabled soldiers for several years. Among other things, the Royal co-founded the Invictus Games.
