There is a garden break for Archie’s second birthday

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are giving Archie a very special birthday this year because it will be his last as an only child.
Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 39, celebrate the second birthday of their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6th. Since this is Archie’s last birthday as an only child, his parents are trying to make it a very special celebration for him, an insider told the US portal “CloserWeekly”.

“You are staying at home in Montecito and have planned a pool day and barbecue evening in your dreamy garden,” said the insider before the birthday party. The birthday presents are also worried: “Harry and Meghan spoil Archie with gifts, books, a toy car, puzzles and a children’s cook set.” Meghan, who is about to have her second child, left most of the birthday shopping to Harry this year, and Harry really took off.

To make sure it was a very special day for Archie, Harry bought plenty of party hats, balloons, candy and a delicious multi-layered birthday cake. Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, 64, is also there and wants to bake cupcakes. Despite their otherwise strict diet, the Sussex family has an exception on birthdays where everything is allowed. In addition to water features, Prince Harry has also found a chocolate fountain for Archie, which is sure to be a big hit with the two-year-old.

And even Prince William, 38, and Duchess Catherine, 38, have already made contact on Archie’s birthday. “William and Kate sent Archie a present from George, Charlotte and Louis for his birthday as a nice gesture for their nephew,” the insider said. Archie has made some first friends in Montecito. Although he can be shy at times, Archie is very excited when he meets children his age and is very sociable. “He’s really made a big leap in his development. When he wants something, he makes himself felt. Besides being an independent, self-confident and determined kid, he has the cutest personality and is a perfect mix of Meghan and Harry, “the insider continued. “He has a very extensive vocabulary for a 2-year-old. He can sort shapes and colors and is already learning the alphabet.”
Archie inherited Harry’s sense of humor
Archie definitely inherited Harry’s sense of humor and cheeky charisma, but the cheeky badger already knows when to pull himself together. “Harry and Meghan teach their son impeccable manners, and he is already saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’,” reports the insider. “Now they’re trying to teach him to sing ‘Happy Birthday …’ and he’s trying to join in. It’s so adorable.”
