Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are campaigning with other stars to get vaccinated and to improve access to vaccines worldwide.

Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) support the “Vax Live” project of the Global Citizen organization. As part of the campaign, the population’s trust in Covid-19 vaccines is to be strengthened and attention is drawn to the need to give poorer countries fair access to vaccines. Global Citizen has also announced a special event in which the two royals will also play a role: The two will be at the event “Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World” according to Global Citizen Delivering an “important global message for vaccine equity”.

“We must strive for a fair distribution of the vaccines and thereby restore trust in our common humanity. This mission could not be more decisive or more important,” said Harry and Meghan in advance. Other stars will also take part in the event: Singer Selena Gomez (28) will moderate, and performances by Jennifer Lopez (51), the Foo Fighters and J Balvin (35) are also planned.

Other stars involved include Ben Affleck (48), Chrissy Teigen (35), Jimmy Kimmel (53) and Sean Penn (60). The heads of state will be US President Joe Biden (78) with his wife Jill Biden (69), US Vice President Kamala Harris (56) as well as French President Emmanuel Macron (43), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (49) and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic be there. The event will be broadcast on May 8th.
