Harry and Meghan not only do charitable work themselves: Now they thanked volunteers with food packages.

Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) have sent food packages to a group of veterans. The famous couple wanted to thank them for their social work and apparently served lunch for the volunteers in Los Angeles.

The organization "The Mission Continues", which organized the social commitment of the veterans, shared pictures of food parcels and a message from Prince Harry and his wife on Instagram. There is also a short text accompanying the photos, in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Archewell Foundation are thanked for providing the volunteers with lunch: "It is a great honor to have your support!"

Engaged in California

In the letter showing "The Mission Continues" Harry and Meghan state among other things: "We are so proud of all the work you are doing in supporting your community and we hope that you enjoy this little token of our appreciation." At the end the two add: "We look forward to being with you soon!"

Since they resigned from their royal duties in spring 2020 and moved to California with their son Archie (1), Harry and Meghan have been doing volunteer work in the Los Angeles area. Among other things, they helped with the distribution of meals or visited an organization that supports people who had previously been imprisoned. In addition, Meghan and Harry delivered video messages for charities during the Corona crisis. They also recently announced the first project of their non-profit Archewell Foundation: together with "World Central Kitchen", aid centers are being set up to provide people in disaster areas with food.
