Her Archewell Foundation is donating $3 million
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are committed to charitable causes with their foundation.

Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation has donated three million. A report also shows what the money was used for.
Duchess Meghan (41) and Prince Harry (38) have apparently already achieved a lot with their Archewell Foundation. The non-profit organization has now published a first report. It covers the foundation’s work from its inception in 2020 through 2022. In 2021, the Archewell Foundation raised approximately $13 million and donated approximately $3 million. The remainder will likely be donated to charity in the years to come.
According to the report, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s charity helped source 12.66 million doses of Covid vaccine alongside Global Citizen, donated 50,000 meals in partnership with World Central Kitchen and helped 7,468 through a donation to the Human First Coalition, among others people to leave Afghanistan.
That’s behind Archewell
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan founded the Archewell organization in 2020, shortly after stepping down from their roles as senior royals and moving to the US from the UK. As for the foundation’s name, the couple explained that “ark” is the Greek word for “source of action.” The first-born son of the royal dropouts, who was born in May 2019, is also named Archie. The Sussexes have another daughter, Lilibet (1).
Under the Archewell brand, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan also have a production company through which they work with Netflix. The documentary series “Harry & Meghan” was released on the streaming service in December, in which they tell their love story, but also attack the royal family. The Sussexes also have another production company, Archewell Audio. There is a partnership with Spotify, where a podcast by Duchess Meghan can be heard.
