Prince Harry and Meghan: A crown causes trouble

A British charity sent a thank you letter from Prince Harry (35) and his wife Meghan (38) published via Twitter. "Street Games" supports disadvantaged communities in London, the organization said, among other things, to the letter from the Sussexes: "Wow! Thank you very much, Harry and Meghan, for your kind words and your continued support (…)".

The two simply signed the letter, in which they expressed their emotional thanks for the work of "Street Games" during the coronavirus pandemic, with "Harry and Meghan", without naming the title. However, some users complained about the Sussexes using a crown in their monogram. "You have to take the crown out of the logo", "No Royals – no crown" or "Why are you still using a Royal logo? I thought you shouldn't?" Says users.

Criticism and much praise

But the Royal fans, who still support Meghan and Harry, are by far the majority. A user stated about Meghan: "She is still royal, a duchess and married to the son of a future king. There is no reason to remove the crown." Most people who comment on the letter on Twitter don't care about the crown. The tweet is well received by enthusiastic fans who celebrate the charity work of Meghan and Harry: "Harry and Meghan are the best royals. All of their projects are really sustainable and should really help people," it says, among other things.

The ducal couple Sussex has been married since May 19, 2018. In spring 2020, they resigned as senior royals. After the so-called Megxit, they emigrated with their son Archie (1) to Canada and then to the USA. They currently live in a Los Angeles mansion owned by US actor Tyler Perry (50).
