After Prince Philip’s death became known, Prince Harry returned to Great Britain. Duchess Meghan should not be there.

Prince Harry (36) returned to his homeland after the death of Prince Philip (1921-2021). According to media reports from the USA and Great Britain, his wife, Duchess Meghan (39), was not at his side.

The palace had previously confirmed Harry’s attendance at Philips’ funeral. It was also stated that her doctors had advised pregnant Meghan not to travel. It was also previously reported that Harry wanted to return as soon as possible to be with the Royal Family.

Funeral will take place on April 17th

Prince Philip’s funeral will take place on April 17th, the palace recently confirmed. There should be a nationwide minute of silence before the funeral service on Saturday. There will be no state funeral, but a small procession. Because of the corona pandemic, only a few mourners should attend the funeral.

Harry will meet his brother Prince William (38) at home for the first time since the TV interview with Oprah Winfrey (67). According to British media reports, the two are said to walk side by side after their grandfather’s coffin.

The funeral will also be broadcast on TV. In Germany, RTL will accompany the funeral ceremony from 3 p.m. live, as the broadcaster has announced. Frauke Ludowig (57) and aristocracy expert Michael Begasse (55) classify the events and switch live to Katharina Delling and Ulrich Oppold, who report from London and Windsor.
