Prince Harry + Duchess Meghan: spotted! Joint visit to the cemetery

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate "Remembrance Day" in honor of the war dead in LA by laying a wreath in a Los Angeles cemetery after an uproar with the royal family.

It is extremely rare these days to see Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 39, outside of their new home in Montecito. Remembrance Day, a day of honor for the fallen of the Commonwealth, was reason enough for the couple to leave their homes to visit the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

While the rest of the royal family celebrated Remembrance Day in London, the Duke and Duchess visited the National Cemetery in LA to honor war heroes. Harry's father, Prince Charles, 71, meanwhile, laid a wreath in London for Queen Elizabeth, 94 Prince William, 38, and Duchess Catherine, 38, were among those who attended the ceremonies.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry: Flowers from their own garden

Harry and Meghan laid their wreath and flowers in LA that Meghan had previously picked in her garden in Montecito. "To all who have served and are serving. Thank you," read Prince Harry's wreath. Prince Harry wore a dark blue suit adorned with three military medals, while Meghan wore black from head to toe.

In the presence of other cemetery visitors, Meghan and Harry initially had both masks on, but removed them later when they were alone in a less visited corner of the cemetery.
