Prince Harry spoke about son Archie’s future plans during a speech. He also revealed the advice he gave him.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in The Hague, Prince Harry (37) spoke on Saturday evening (April 16) about his son’s possible future plans. Archie, who turns three in early May, wants to be “an astronaut some days, a pilot some days.” “A helicopter pilot, of course,” joked the Duke of Sussex, referring to his own military career. On other days, Archie wants to be the cartoon character “Kwazii from the ‘Octonauts’,” Harry continued. “Whoever laughs now has seen it.”

Prince Harry also revealed the advice he gave his son: “I remind him that no matter what you want to be when you grow up, it’s the character that matters most.” The Duke of Sussex then addressed the athletes in the audience and said: “And nothing would make his mum and I prouder than if he had the character of those we see here today.”

Romantic kiss on stage

In his speech, Prince Harry also paid tribute to the members of the Ukraine team for their “bravery in making the decision to come and be here tonight”. Previously, wife Duchess Meghan (40) gave a speech on stage in which she welcomed the participating soldiers and introduced Harry as an “incredible husband” and “the father of our little ones, Archie and Lili”. Before she handed the microphone to him, the two shared a kiss on stage.
