In his memoirs, Prince Harry did not hide anything from his readers… Not even his most intimate memories. In Spare, in fact, the Duke of Sussex recounts in particular his first time, when he lost his virginity at 17 with a woman older than him, whose identity he preferred not to reveal. Meghan Markle’s husband revealed that it took place in a field, behind a bar where there were many people. In his memoirs he remembers a “humiliating episode with an older woman who loved macho horses and who [l]he was treated like a young stallion” : “I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked me and sent me away. But these embarrassing revelations were questioned by a famous actor. Rupert Everett indeed claims that Prince Harry’s story is not completely true, explaining that he knows the identity of the woman involved. “I know who the woman he lost his virginity to is. And it wasn’t behind a pub. And it wasn’t in this country,” he swore in the columns of the Daily Telegraph. The identity of the Duke of Sussex’s mature lover has been a mystery for decades, but he claimed she was “a beautiful older woman who lived in the country”. For years it was rumored that he lost his virginity to Elizabeth Hurley, 19 years his senior, when he was a teenager. But the 57-year-old actress strongly denied this crazy rumor. “Not me. Not guilty. Ha!, she asserted. No. Not me. Absolutely not.”
Prince Harry: his first night with Meghan Markle
In his memoirs, Prince Harry also recounts his very first night with Meghan Markle in a hotel. “She pulled me inside and thanked her friend in one smooth motion, then slammed the door quickly before anyone saw her, he wrote shamelessly. I mean we hung a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door.” He also recounted how he hid under the covers of their bed when breakfast was delivered the next morning. “Meg whispered to go to the bathroom but I preferred my hiding place”, he added. The breakfast was then delivered by the assistant manager of the hotel, who stayed to chat with Meghan Markle: “He didn’t notice the prince-shaped bump under the duvet, He talked and talked, and caught it at the last moment, while I, in my duvet cave, started running out of air”.
