Why a discussion with Charles and William is a long way off

Prince Harry is currently paying a surprise visit to London. A meeting with King Charles and Prince William could be a long way off. The monarch is said to be “too busy”.
On Monday morning, March 27, 2023, Prince Harry, 38, got out of a black cab to the surprise of everyone outside London’s High Court. “The Duke of Sussex has arrived at the start of a four-day hearing against Associated Newspapers,” said ITV producer Lizzie Robinson on Twitter.
It is Harry’s first home stay since the release of his explosive Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan”, the memoir “Spare” (Eng: “Reserve”) and his numerous TV interviews in which he had shot his family several times . Will it now be discussed with King Charles, 74, Prince William, 40, and Co.? Highly questionable – and the reasons for this are obvious.
Prince Harry: Serious allegations, Prince William’s hatred and Queen Camilla’s will to reconcile
Harry claims William became violent towards him, accuses his stepmother Queen Camilla, 75, of being “dangerous” and emphasizes the lack of support from his father Charles in the wake of the Megxit. The list could go on endlessly. So far, no high-ranking member of the British royal family has made such a private and scandalous public statement. Royal experts think the brothers’ relationship is on the brink, with an alleged friend of William’s even claiming to Express that he hates Harry for “what he did to the family in the books and interviews”.
Camilla, on the other hand, is said to be more forgiving and is said to even hope for a discussion. However, the royals have never commented personally on the entire scandal. However, the invitation to the coronation that the Sussexes received by “email from His Majesty’s office” could be seen as an outstretched hand, according to their spokesman in early March. However, an acceptance or rejection is still pending.
Royal expert hopes for “a family reunification”
A few weeks before the coronation, Prince Harry traveled to London. His priority in the trial against the Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) testify. He had already filed the lawsuit against unlawful information gathering for his titles in 2019. The Duke of Sussex is part of a group of people including Sir Elton John, 76, who have made claims against ANL over the misuse of private information.
Of course, the first voices are being raised as to whether the prince also wants to use his home visit to talk to his family. “Time for a family reunion?” writes Roya Nikkhah, Royal Editor of The Sunday Times, on Twitter shortly after Harry was spotted in London.
No debate in sight: Charles and William are not supposed to be in London
It should be borne in mind, however, that the four-day hearing was actually scheduled to coincide with Charles’ state visit to France (March 26-27). This had to be postponed due to protests against the planned pension reform, as the office of French President Emmanuel Macron, 45, announced on Friday, March 24th. This may have played into the hands of both parties at first, but is now putting pressure on them because Charles is still in the UK pending his state visit to Germany.
Both “The Sun” columnist Matt Wilkinson and ITV Royal expert Chris Ship consider a debate unrealistic. Wilkonson tweeted: “Interestingly, Prince William and King Charles are not in London or Windsor at the moment.”
Ship agrees, adding: “Prince Harry was not expecting to see his father or brother this week as both the King and Prince William are away from London […]. The king should be in France today anyway for his state visit.”
Charles is “too busy” to meet Harry
The British newspaper “The Telegraph” wants to know more. According to palace sources, neither King Charles nor Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, and their children are in London due to school holidays. Harry is said to have made contact with his father. However, a meeting could not be arranged because he was told that Charles was “too busy”.
