The cinema-goers were probably quite astonished at this sight: Prince Harry (38) surprisingly attended the premiere of his new Netflix documentary “Heart of Invictus” in a theater in Chula Vista, California last Monday evening. This is shown by several posts on social media.

Fans rave: “What a man”

A viewer shared on Instagram, among other things, a video, in which Prince Harry is speaking on the cinema stage while his documentary is playing in the background. “When on a normal Monday night Prince Harry crashes the premiere of his show in Chula Vista,” she writes. Then is a joint selfie with the 38-year-old to see. “What a show, what a man, what a great surprise,” enthuses the user.

On stage, Prince Harry greeted the audience in a friendly manner and explained, among other things, that “Heart of Invictus” had been created in the past two years. Like “Entertainment Tonight” wants to know, the appearance should not have been planned, which is why there was no press on site.

“Heart of Invictus” out August 30 on Netflix

The five-part documentary series “Heart of Invictus” is available on Netflix from today, August 30th. It features Prince Harry alongside athletes at the sporting event. It is the third Netflix project by Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan (42).

The series starts just a few days before the start of this year’s Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. The Sussexes’ production company’s first Netflix project was announced in April 2021. The sports event for war-disabled soldiers was initiated by Prince Harry and took place in London for the first time in 2014. The Invictus Games 2020 had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic. They were finally held in The Hague in April 2022.
