Prince Harry appears to have been to the hairdresser's. In a new video, he now shows his changed appearance.
Prince Harry (36) has spoken once more via video message from his home in Santa Barbara. Dressed in his usual chic shirt, he would like to express his thanks and support to this year's participants in the charitable Trailwalk relay race. But something is different. The Duke of Sussex looks changed.
The sides are a little shorter, the front is styled upwards: Harry has a new haircut. He also underpins his new, much sleeker look with a longer beard than usual. However, this does not distract from the concerns of the 36-year-old. In the video, Harry talks about his "special connection" to Nepal and the Gurkhas, the Nepalese soldiers serving in the British Army.
Help in "devastating and destructive" times
"I went to Nepal almost five years ago to meet families and see firsthand how the country was rebuilt after the devastating earthquake in 2015," says Harry. "It was clear that despite what the Nepalese went through, their spirit and resilience never waned." Then he bridges the gap to the corona pandemic: "With Covid-19, the world is facing a new challenge. A challenge that is devastating and destructive in itself, and I am encouraged to see that the Nepalese spirit is once again unshakable is. "
The donations that are collected during the virtual relay within a week should go to those communities that are particularly at risk from the virus. They should be provided with medicines and clean water and receive financial aid.
