Prince Harry traveled to Africa. The reason for his visit is to work for the non-governmental organization “African Parks”.

Prince Harry, 37, traveled the African continent. As “Daily Mail” reports, the Royal is on behalf of the cross-border non-governmental organization “African Parks”, of which he is President.

Prince Harry: His visit to Mozambique

Prince Harry did not spend his trip all alone. As the spokesman for the royals said, as president of African Parks, he invited a group of US officials, conservationists and philanthropists to visit the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique.

Harry has previously visited Bazaruto, the largest island in the archipelago, with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 36, for example. Yassin Amuji, head of Vilanculos Tourism Association, had met Harry at breakfast at his beach resort and has nothing but good things to say about the Royal to report. “He was simple and humble and very polite, even when guests of the hotel came up to him for photos,” he told the magazine. For his next visit, Amuji also cordially invites Harry’s wife Duchess Meghan, 41, and the children Lilibet, 1, and Archie, 3. “I’ve seen Prince Harry around this area since he was in his twenties enjoying his holidays in Bazaruto. I know he’ll be back and hopefully next time he’ll bring his family.”

His stop in Rwanda

Harry also visited Rwanda with the organization, where he visited the “Kigali Genocide Memorial” and paid his respects to the victims of the Tutsi Genocide. He also met with the country’s President Paul Kagame, 64. A picture of the visit was shared on the President’s official Twitter account on August 22, 2022. “President Kagame received Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, who was visiting Rwanda as part of his work as President of African Parks. The Rwandan government has arrangements with African Parks for the management of Akagera and Nyungwe National Parks,” the caption reads.

Further visits to the continent, whether as president of “African Parks” or as a vacationer with his family, are certainly already planned.
