On January 10, 2023, Prince Harry will publish his memoirs. Readers should be able to expect these revelations from the royal’s autobiography.

Months of speculation about the content of Prince Harry’s, 38, memoir will soon come to an end. On January 10, 2023, his biography entitled “Spare” is scheduled to be published. According to the book’s publisher, Penguin Random House, the work was written with a “raw, unabashed honesty.” In addition to revelations about many aspects of his life so far – from his time in Afghanistan to the tragic death of his mother Princess Diana, † 36, the contents of the book also contain other “truth bombs” for the royal family.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail: “It’s not a question of whether Harry has the right to publish his memoirs, but whether it’s helpful to the royal family of which he is a part, and certainly is whether it benefits the Sussexes in their desire for a philanthropic image.” Questions about the commercial background also arise in relation to the release.

Prince Harry: What does the title of the book “Spare” mean?

The choice of the title “Spare” (German: “substitute”) is said to have been a provocative decision by the prince. The concept of “heir and surrogate has existed in the royal family for many centuries,” author Heather Cocks explains to Vanity Fair as follows: “With an heir and a surrogate dynamic, you get a child born for the top job , and a second one who will probably grow up feeling like an understudy.” To defy that attitude and make it clear that Harry is “far from” the second choice after his brother Prince William, 40, Princess Diana’s youngest son opted for the titling.

“Spare”: Especially for William and Kate like a slap in the face

Allegations against Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, 40, are also to be addressed in the memoirs. These should even take up a large part of the book and go so far that insiders fear William could finally break with his brother. According to the “Daily Mail” there should also be concern that private information about the royals will be made public.

King Charles: He is said to do better than William and Kate

Even if criticism was leveled at King Charles, 74, in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series, Harry’s memoirs shouldn’t face as much criticism as his brother William. Harry was reportedly warned that damaging Queen Camilla, 75’s, reputation for his father King Charles “crosses a line”.

Worries about the publication of the memoirs are growing

In addition, the lawyers of the royal families should be on standby. The book’s content is understood to be “critical of anything and everything”.

Shortly before the release of his memoir, Harry gave a TV interview to talk to Tom Bradby, former royal correspondent for ITV, about his memoir. In the trailer, Prince Harry claims his family has shown “no willingness to reconcile”. and also that he and Meghan “feel it’s better to portray us as villains”. Harry also talks about his wish in the interview: “I want a family, not an institution.”

What is really behind the cover of the book “Spare” will be revealed on January 10th. Harry’s disclosure story was co-written with JR Moehringer, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who previously penned the biography of US tennis star Andre Agassi, 52.

Will Duchess Meghan follow suit with another revealing book?

There seems to be no end – Duchess Meghan, 41, is said to be working on a disclosure book that is in no way inferior to Harry’s memoirs.
