“His Royal Highness” (HRH) was once, Prince Harry (38) has long since lost this title. Without much ado, Buckingham Palace now made the change in the biography of King Charles III’s younger son. (74) on the Royal Family website. The only surprise is the late timing, because the change itself comes from Megxit times three years ago, when Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan (42) resigned from their posts as Senior Royals.

According to tabloid newspaper

Palace staff removed “His Royal Highness” from the profile side of the Duke of Sussexshortly after the “Express” last Friday pointed out the “big mistake”. Also, Harry and Meghan’s names have been moved to the bottom of the main family page – below the working members of the firm but right above Charles’ disgraced younger brother Prince Andrew (63).

Prior to the updates, Harry was reportedly referred to twice on the site as “HRH” and also as the Prince of Wales’s youngest son, which was Charles’ title before it passed to his firstborn, Prince William, 41. William and his wife, Princess Kate (41), were also referred to as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the website until recently, the tabloid reported.

All errors have now been corrected.

Another bug was fixed faster

While it took the Royal Family years to remove the Duke’s “HRH” title from their website, an error relating to an exhibition at Kensington Palace in June 2021 was quickly corrected.

Next to the world-famous 1981 wedding dress worn by Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997), was a sign reading ‘Awarded by HRH the Duke of Cambridge and HRH the Duke of Sussex’. After fans noticed the “administrative error”, it was corrected just days later and replaced with “Awarded by HRH the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex”.

Harry and Meghan had agreed to relinquish their “HRH” titles after stepping down as senior members of the royal family and emigrating to the United States in January 2020.
