Prince Harry has dedicated himself to a heart project for Netflix: The documentary series “Heart of Invictus” will be released later this month.

Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 42, the latest Netflix project will start in two weeks. On August 30th, the five-part documentary series “Heart of Invictus” will appear on the streaming service, as Netflix announced today. A trailer for the series is also available today. It features Prince Harry alongside athletes at the sporting event.

The Invictus Games will be in Düsseldorf in September

“Heart of Invictus” starts a few days before the start of this year’s Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. The Sussexes’ production company’s first Netflix project was announced in April 2021. The Paralympic sports event for war-disabled soldiers was initiated by Prince Harry and took place in London for the first time in 2014. The Invictus Games 2020 had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic. They were finally held in The Hague in April 2022.

“Our Invictus Games community represents some of the bravest and most passionate people from 23 nations around the globe,” said Prince Harry in a statement, the “Variety” is available. The participants in the games are “competitors who came together through their military service and are now united through sport.”

Prince Harry is also said to be planning a documentary about Africa for Netflix

“Heart of Invictus” is Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s third Netflix project – after their controversial documentary series “Harry & Meghan”, which appeared at the end of 2022, and the portrait and interview format “Live to Lead”, which also started in 2022. Prince Harry is also said to be working on a documentary about Africa for Netflix, according to an insider.

The Sussexes’ lucrative deal with Spotify fell through this summer. In mid-June, the streaming platform announced that it would not produce a second season of Duchess Meghan’s podcast “Archetypes”. Spotify and Harry and Meghan’s production company Archewell Audio announced in a joint statement at the time that although they were “proud of the series” “that we made together”, they “mutually agreed to separate”.
