Princess Rajwa Al-Saif makes a fashion statement on her first official trip abroad
It is an important step in Hussein and Rajwa’s young marriage: they will represent their country in international affairs for the first time. The royal court statement said: “His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein, accompanied by His Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein, begins a two-day working visit to Singapore on Thursday, where His Royal Highness will meet Prime Minister President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.” The launch of the Jordan-Singapore Tech Alliance Forum is also on their agenda.
The first pictures taken during the visit to the Tech Forum show that Rajwa Al-Hussein has done her homework when it comes to wardrobe and etiquette. For the first look of her trip abroad, she chooses a cream-colored dress with a floral print and balloon sleeves, which are also decorated with an elegant button placket. The calf-length dress is an example of the current Lydia Millen collection, which the YouTuber released in cooperation with the traditional label Karen Millen. The price of the dress is surprising; at around 260 euros, it is one of the cheaper royal looks that you usually see. However, the Princess of Jordan does not wear the tie on the dress collar as a bow, but only slightly knotted. This gives the outfit a modern twist.
