Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco have a birthday. But her daily schedule doesn't sound like a happy children's party.

Cakes, candles, gifts: birthdays are celebrated in the Monegasque Princely House. The children of Prince Albert II (62) and Charlène von Monaco (42), Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, will be six years old on December 10th. Mother Charlène posted two snapshots on Instagram showing the family in front of a set birthday table. "Happy sixth birthday, my beautiful children," wrote the 42-year-old. The Royal Twins still have to wait for a suitable celebration.

According to Prince Albert II, there will be no party in the palace with schoolmates and friends this year. Instead, an official date is on the program. The 62-year-old told the US “People” magazine: The children will celebrate their birthday at “the christening of our new maritime police ship”. Since the ship is named "Princess Gabriella", daughter Gabriella will lead the christening ceremony and be the ship's godmother. "It will definitely be funny for her," said Prince Albert II. Princess Gabriella was "a blown bag" with "a great sense of humor and show performances".

Birthday party in a small group

Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella don't have to do without a small celebration entirely. As Prince Albert II revealed, his wife Charlène planned an afternoon in nature next Saturday. "With a limited number of other children." Two friends and two cousins of the Royal twins were expected.
