Prince Joachim of Denmark (51) continues to recover from his emergency brain surgery. The Danish royal family has now published a first photo of the royal, which shows him smiling at the side of his older brother, Crown Prince Frederik (52). This had paid the 51-year-old a sick visit in France, as the palace announced via Instagram.
In a casual white T-shirt, Prince Joachim is sitting on the snapshot at the breakfast table. There are no traces of surgery for a blood clot on the head. The Royal had already left the university hospital in Toulouse, France, on August 3. Since then he has been recovering in the Château de Cayx, a residence of the Danish royal family in southern France, "but still needs some rest".
