Impressive sea of flowers at Windsor Castle

The grounds of Windsor Castle were used to display the flowers that people outside the walls had left after Prince Philip’s death.
Prince Edward (57), his wife Sophie von Wessex (56) and his daughter Princess Louise (17) paid tribute to the sea of flowers that has spread across the grounds of Windsor Castle this Friday (April 16). Employees had brought the flowers and small letters that people had left around the palace after Prince Philips (1921-2021) death, like in a tweet was communicated. Wreaths of flowers from numerous organizations also found space on the lawn.
Prince Philip, who died on April 9, 2021 at the age of 99, will be buried next weekend. The funeral will take place in Windsor. ZDF will broadcast the farewell ceremony for the husband of Queen Elizabeth II (94) from 3:10 p.m. to 5:08 p.m. live from Mainz and London. RTL, Sat.1 and n-tv also broadcast the funeral service.
