Prince Philip is said to have given three men an inheritance of millions in his will. His children can choose books.

Prince Philip (1921-2021) is said to have shown himself to be particularly generous to three close employees by bequeathing a large part of his £ 30 million estate to them. This is reported by the British “The Sun”, citing a royal source.

The three men are said to be private secretary Brigadier Archie Miller-Bakewell and the pages William Henderson and Stephen Niedojadlo, who are said to have kept Prince Philip company in turns until the end. “Unlike some other royals, Prince Philip will be generous to the three men who took care of him,” the source said.

These three confidants were also among the group of six aides who walked behind Philip’s coffin and high-ranking members of the royal family at the funeral procession on April 17 at Windsor Castle.

Most of it goes to Queen Elizabeth II.

Most of Prince Philips’ estate should go to his wife, Queen Elizabeth II (95). His children, Prince Charles (72), Princess Anne (70), Prince Edward (57) and Prince Andrew (61) should be able to use 13,000 books in his palace library, the source continues.

Prince Philip died on April 9th

In mid-March, Prince Philip returned home after spending a month in two London clinics. On April 9, he died of old age at the age of 99. The Duke of Edinburgh “died peacefully at Windsor Castle on the morning of April 9,” said an official statement from the British royal family on the death of the Prince Consort.
