Prince Harry says goodbye to Prince Philip in personal words. His small family will “sorely miss” him.

Prince Harry remembers Prince Philip (1921-2021) as a “man of service, honor and great humor”. For the 36-year-old, however, he was one thing above all: “my grandfather”. With loving lines published on the website “archewell.com”, he is now saying goodbye to the Prince Consort, who died on April 9 at the age of 99.

“Always a special place in our hearts”

“He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp joke, and was able to hold the attention of any room with his charm – also because you never knew what he would say next,” says Prince Harry of the late husband of Queen Elizabeth II. (94) in honor. Prince Philip was “a rock” for the British monarch, “with incomparable devotion in 73 years of marriage”.
