Prince Philip is honored with a documentary. At the end of September, the BBC broadcast the film in which the Royal Family commemorates the deceased.
Prince Philip (1921-2021), who died in April, is to be honored with a documentary. Come in the film that the British broadcaster BBC will show on September 22nd according to the announcement “More than a dozen” members of the Royal Family who share their memories and tell anecdotes.
Prince Philip’s children and grandchildren have their say
Originally, the documentary entitled “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers” was planned for the 100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II’s husband (95) on June 10th. Therefore, some of the interviews were made before Prince Philip’s death.
In addition to the four children of the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen, their adult grandchildren and other family members also have their say. The station was also granted access to the Queen’s private film collection.
The result should be a humorous and “unprecedented portrait of a man with a unique place in royal history” – told by those who knew him best. The monarch herself, however, should not have a say.
