Prince Sverre Magnus changes schools and chooses a trend-setting focus

Prince Sverre Magnus, 15, paves the way for his professional orientation. The son of Prince Haakon, 47, and Princess Mette-Marit, 47, have now officially decided on a secondary school. On July 5, 2021, the Norwegian royal court announced that it would attend the secondary school of Elvebakken VGS (videregående skole, Eng .: secondary school, editor’s note).

The Elvebakken VGS secondary school, which the prince chose, is located in the Grünerløkka district in northeast Oslo and, with around 1,400 students and 150 teachers, is the city’s largest secondary school. Since autumn 2020 she has also been visited by Sverre Magnus’ older sister Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 17. Also practical: the building is in close proximity to the Royal Palace.

The range of courses includes various branches of study with the option of acquiring various apprenticeship and professional qualifications or even a university entrance qualification. As announced on the official website of the Norwegian royal family, Sverre Magnus chose the branch of information technology and media production. It seems that the young prince has already found his calling.

Prince Nikolai confirms plans to move to Paris

Soon he is close to his father, Prince Joachim, 52, again: Prince Nikolai, 21, packs his things and moves from Denmark to France. In Paris the grandson of Queen Margrethe of Denmark, 81, part of his studies at the Graduate from Copenhagen Business School. The young royal has now confirmed this to the Danish tabloid “BT”. It starts in autumn. According to a press spokeswoman for his mother, Alexandra von Frederiksborg, 57, he will be studying a “business elective from September 2021 to January 2022” in Paris.

He is now living close to his father Joachim, who moved to Paris in autumn 2019. The fashion capital certainly knows the royal offspring very well: Nikolai has already walked the catwalk as a model for big names such as Burberry and Dior and graced the cover of the Ukrainian “Vogue” in 2019.
