Prince William and Duchess Kate: bodies found in front of their London home

A body was found in a pond in front of Kensington Palace, where William and Kate, among others, live with their children.

According to British media reports, a woman's body was found in a pond in front of Kensington Palace. Prince William (38) and his wife Kate (38) live in the royal estate in London with their children Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2).

The body of the woman, who apparently could not yet be identified, has already been discovered last Saturday, according to the "Sun", while the Cambridges Queen Elizabeth II (94) visited in Balmoral in Scotland, where she is spending her summer break. Princess Eugenie (30) and her husband Jack Brooksbank (34) also live on the Kensington Palace estate.

Wrong family informed

The death is currently "unresolved" by the police, reports the Daily Mail, but the circumstances are not classified as "suspicious". At first it was wrongly assumed that the dead woman was the artist Endellion Lycett Green, the granddaughter of the poet Sir John Betjeman. Her brother later made it clear via Twitter: "My sister Endellion is alive, safe and healthy."
