What a surprise for the elderly at the Shire Hall Care House in Cardiff, Wales. None other than Prince William (37) and his wife Duchess Kate (38) joined in the social bingo evening via video call. The two royals obviously seemed to be having great fun and giggled again and again with the residents of the nursing home. The two published snippets of the evening later on their official Instagram account.
Kate convinced as a lucky fairy and kept drawing the winning numbers of the lottery game, which is particularly popular in Great Britain and the USA. After the game there was also enough time for personal discussions with the seniors. The royals asked via laptop about the well-being of the residents, who are currently not allowed to visit in Corona times. For this evening at least, the current problems of nursing home residents seemed to have disappeared for a moment.
