Prince William and Duchess Kate: Royals attend official appointment via webcam

Prince William (37) and Duchess Kate (38) fulfill their royal duties even in times of the Corona crisis. They recently chatted with teachers and students from the Casterton Primary Academy in Lancashire via video chat from their country home in Note Hall in Norfolk. The royal couple was in a good mood and extremely approachable, as recordings on Instagram show.

Early Easter with the Royals

The students who are taught at the Casterton Primary Academy are "children of key workers," as William and Kate explain. Her parents were currently working on the front line, for example as caregivers, sales people or for delivery services.

The royal couple, who have three children themselves, used the video call to thank the teachers "for their hard work and commitment – and to wish the children a happy Easter". The fun was obviously not neglected. Prince William and Duchess Kate talked animatedly to the children, asked questions and, in return, also answered questions.
